CLUBROOM NEWS

After some serious thought, and insight from the volunteer bartenders we have decided, due to the lack of business during the week, to open only on Fridays, Saturdays, and for Special Events. I hope this is only temporary. It's really not fair to the volunteers to sit here for six hours just to sell three or four beers. When we have the demand to be open, then by all means—we'll open it up. I'd love to see it open seven days a week.

With that said, we are doing everything in our power to make Fridays and Saturdays live again at the Post.

We are holding Texas Hold'em Tournaments and Pool Tournaments on Friday nights beginning at 7:00 p.m. Happy Hour from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. with $1.00 Draw Beer, $1.50 Bottle Beer, and Margaritas for $1.50. Snacks are being considered if the crowd is big enough. So come on by and give us a chance to be your Friday entertainment.

Monday, Sept. 1: LABOR DAY DINNER. The Post will provide the meat and potatoes; we ask that you bring a covered dish.

Friday, Sept. 5: Friday Night Dinners start again: 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. $5.50

Saturday, Sept. 6, 13, 20, & 27: Breakfast: 6:00 a m to 11:00 am. Lite Lunch: 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Sunday, Sept. 7: BBQ Brisket Dinner. $6.00 We will be serving from 11:30 to 2:00 p.m. A Ladies Auxiliary Fundraiser for Cancer Aid & Research.

Friday. Sept. 19: Friday Night Dinner. The Veteran's Café will be open from 4 to 7:00 p.m. if you would like to eat before the Pow/MIA Ceremony.

Friday, Sept.12 & 26: Friday Night Dinner $5.50 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
