J. Wilbur Adams VFW Post 3404 is dedicated to helping all American veterans in their time of need. If you are a veteran or know of a veteran that is in need of assistance, please contact the post at 417-865-6929.
Post 3404 offers LIMITED FINANCIAL AID to veterans-in-need. Such aid may be for partial payment on a utility or rent bill, food coupons, or gas cards. If you need some assistance, call for an appointment. Then bring your DD-214 and a copy of the bill. The bill is necessary so that the name and address of the company and your account number is available. If approved, the check will be written to that company, along with your account number, and mailed to the company's address. We do not provide cash. We will provide aid as necessary.
Veteran's Service Officers can help with filing of disability benefit claims with the Veterans Administration. Veterans do not have to have served overseas or in a combat zone to qualify to receive a benefit. Veteran's Service officers have offices in Springfield VA Clinic at 1850 West Republic St. Springfield, MO 65807
If a Service Officer is not available, please leave a message to include the veteran's name, phone number, time you called, and a message. A Service Officer will return your call as soon as possible.
